Team Rocket: An Introduction by Dodgemaster Tim

They're the bad guys, the people we're supposed to boo and hate and roar and yell at. And, from what I've seen, kids do just that, thinking of Jesse, James and Meowth as evil ne'erdo-wells.

But I'm not a kid, I am one of the many thousands of sad adults who enjoy watching Pokemon so much that I get involved in the time and effort of a website devoted to it.

To me and to many others, Team Rocket aren't just 2-Dimensional bad guys there to be a foil to the heroes, but truly developed characters we can either choose to love or hate.

I choose love, I'm cool like that.

Below are Pokemopolis' own little character observations on each of these 'anti-heroes' for the nineties.

Some of the themes in these might be unsettling to younger readers, as they take a more grown-up, rounded look at the characters (don't get me wrong, there is no sex or descriptions of nudity or nasty stuff like you'll find on some websites, just discussions on common observations made by many other Poke-Fans about Team Rocket).
